The waiting is over! The much-awaited music video for Tiye by Mr. Dyson Mthawanji featuring Sangie is now out. The well-crafted video which was premiered on Friday on Zodiak Television is now trending.
Apart from Sangie, the video also incorporated the well-known Blantyre based model, Princilla Ntaba whose contribution in the video is powerful in as far as acting is concerned.
Speaking to Umatha Daily from his base at Likuni in Lilongwe, Dyson Mthawanji, said he joins all the music lovers in cerebrating the release of the video whose audio hit the airwaves on 31 December 2021 when he was commemorating his birthday.
“Like all music lovers, I’m also happy that the video is now out. I have been receiving a lot of phone calls and messages across the country asking about the video. I thank my music producer, Ron CZ, for this nice production,” said Mthawanji who is also a well-known author. He published a popular Chichewa book entitled Chiphadzuwa cha Usiku which is still selling like hot cakes on the market.
Many people in Malawi and abroad are still surprised with Mthawanji’s music career as nobody knew or predicted that this man who is also working as Southern Africa Communications Officer for a German NGO can sing.
